About Us
What is the Leon County Reading Association?
The Leon County Reading Council (LCRC) is a non-profit organization composed of teachers, school administrators, and other individuals who are interested in promoting literacy at all levels throughout the community.
The LCRC is an affiliate of the Florida Reading Association (FRA), with a network of more than 3,000 members, and the International Literacy Association (ILA), a world-wide organization with members in 100 countries throughout the world.
The LCRC was chartered in 1960.
